Onion Man is a hand-drawn comic I'm releasing as a collectible series on Ethereum. Each issue is a short, self-contained story. You buy a copy, you own it, and you can read it in a premium viewer on this site.
If you don't know what Ethereum or NFTs are, here's the short version: each copy is a unique digital object that belongs to you, stored permanently on a public ledger that nobody controls. No account to lose. No platform that can disappear. Your copy is yours.
For the more technical: every page of art is stored directly onchain as an ERC-721 token. Not hosted on a server. Not on IPFS. Onchain. There are exactly 100 copies per volume and that number never changes.
I draw comics when people want to read them. This isn't a roadmap with 47 milestones and a governance token. It's simpler than that.
If the current issue sells out, I make the next one. If it doesn't, I don't.
That's the entire model. Issue 1 is guaranteed. Both volumes ship no matter what. After that, the series continues for as long as you show up. Every issue is a complete story. Nothing gets left hanging. The only question is whether there's a next one.
